The first Studio Recording The Beatles made, was a recording of two
tunes in Spring-Early Summer 1958 at the P.F Philips Studio in
Liverpool. It was recorded at a time when The Beatles still were The
Quarrymen, with the members John Lennon, Paul McCartney,
George Harrison, pianist John Lowe and drummer Colin Hanton.
That´ll Be The Day
This cover version of Buddy Holly's
classic song was recorded by the
Quarry Men in 1958. A single 78rpm
disc was pressed, making it the very
first recording to feature John Lennon,
Paul McCartney and George Harrison. 
In Spite Of All The Danger
This Song is the only song that
is credited to Paul
McCartney/George Harrison as
the composer It was not
released to the public until it
appeared on 1995's Anthology
