Tommorrow Never Knows(John Lennon / Paul
McCartney) |
Lady Madonna (John Lennon /
Paul McCartney) The "Fairground"- like version (Paul on Organ) was propably recorded inlate 1967 during Magical Mystery Tour sessions. It was the first time that Paul played this new composition to the other Beatles. Across The Universe (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) This acoustic version ws rescued from another monitor-mix recording, February 1968. Not Guilty (George Harrison) One of the few unreleased Beatles-songs left in the vaults of EMI. This is the Beatles -version of a George Harrison song. Recorded in August 1968 for the White Album, a great song with great big guitars Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) An early take and a different arrangement based on acoustic guitar rather than paino. Recorded in July 1968. While My Guitar Gently Weeps (George Harrison) A beautiful unplugged first take played by only George - with only a bit of organ in the background - 15the July, 1968 Happiness Is A Warm Gun (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) This is basically the official version but with unused organ and piano-overdub, September 1968. I´m So Tired (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) An early mix with different Lennon-Vocal as well as unused lead guitar and organ overdub, 8th October 1968 What´s The New, Mary Jane (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) And now on to more weirdness by John & Yoko. An unreleased freak-out song originally intended for the White Album, August 1968. Of the other Beatles, only George helped out. Jude (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) Rehearsal take 9, with only Paul, John and Ringo playing and no bass. Recorded 29th July 1968 Revolution No. 9 (John Lennon / Paul McCartney) An alternate mone mix created by John, very different to the released version, particulary towards the end. Goodbye (Paul McCartney) We don´t say Good Night as on the White Album but Goodbye with this charming acoustic Paul McCartney-recording. Paul McCartney wrote this song especially for Apple-Artist Mary Hopkin and taped this demo for her in late 1968. |
