 The Beatles 4th single entered the NME-Single charts at No. 2 one week after  the release. By September the 3rd it was at No. 1, where it stayed for four  weeks. After dropping from No.1 it returned to the top for two more weeks.  With 1,300,000 sold copies it was the best selling single in 1963 in Great  Britain
