The Beatles first single entered the charts on October the 24 at No. 27, and immadiatley dropped out, thus being in the Top 30 for one week only. After
American release in April 1964, the single achieved a million global sales and sold 100,000 in Britain. The second pressing was released in April 1963 and featured a black label
instead of the red label of the first pressing. |
