On 22 June 1961, in Hamburg, the Beatles recorded several songs with
English musician Tony Sheridan for an album called My Bonnie. The Beatles
recorded two songs by themselves. The session tapes have been destroyed,

This is an instrumental track, written as parody of
the Shadows style by Lennon/Harrison

All the songs are officially released now. Three of them: My Bonnie, Cry For A
Shadow and Ain´t She Sweet, were released on the Anthology One album. The

reached #5 in the German Hit Parade. In
the UK the single was released on 5
January 1962 (credited to Tony Sheridan
and The Beatles).
Cry For A Shadow
